Day 4 of journaling every day to work on my stress reduction lever! Sometimes I will sit in front of a blank sheet trying to do a mind map or write out and identify my goals and I’ll get stuck right there. I know I want change, but it can feel overwhelming to even identify the actual goal, let alone the smaller steps that it will take to get there. Today, I want to zoom out and do some daydreaming instead. I want to look at the big picture and think about the life I want. Then in the next few days, I can look at what the individual goals are to get there and the component steps of each of those goals. So no planning today, just dreaming. Take 5-15 minutes and write about What does your ideal life look like in five years? I hope you enjoyed doing some daydreaming today. While I love the planning and tangible benefits of journaling, I also really want to lean into the pure pleasure of it this year.
