ARGH! Not gonna lie here, getting it together to get this posted has been a real struggle-bus for me! Not sure why other than these last 3 weeks have just thrown me off & completely out of my routine. The good = food has been really good. Bad = “formal exercise workouts” have been mostly non-existent & sleep has been dismal. I got up this morning gave myself a loving but firm kick-in-the-butt and then finished a walking worm-up video, a double strength training w/bands workout & a core & balance workout, all before 7:30. That’s early for me, no judging! 😉 Here goes: #TimetoSoar24 My “Why” has everything to do with longevity and my making sure I’m doing the things that are within my power to keep in check in order to achieve that longevity for myself & my family. The Lever I’ll be concentrating on for this challenge is Exercise, more specifically mostly strength training. My goals include using more resistance bands & working up to heavier weights (current heaviest is 10 lbs.) Cardio (HIIT) & balance workouts will also be included. I’m going to do my best to complete 2-3 Strength, 3-4 HIIT/Cardio & 3-4 short balance workouts weekly, at least. Walking is a given, as well. Steppity, step, step… Habits are everything. I let mine get interrupted and now I aim to get them back! 💪
