A very good friend of mine drew this picture to represent the transformation happening in me and shared that it is similar to a cocoon. She reminded me that the cocoon isn't a dark and terrible place, but rather a sacred secret place. A place of intimacy and rest, all while the miraculous transformations are happening! We may not see the transformation as quick as we want, but things are changing from the inside out! We are all on this journey and every stage of it is important. Enjoy the stage you are in—and one day you will step out of your cocoon as a beautiful example of the truest and best version of who you were always meant to be.
