Started walking at the treadmill desk at work! A slightly “sparkly” post walk selfie… a tiny bit sweaty but not so bad that it is gross or noticeable My company returned to the physical office for the first time in 3 years this Fall and the commute and additional sitting has taken a toll on my body. Combined with it being dark outside for more hours, I’m learning to adjust my workouts and squeeze in movement where I can. As a VERY easy to sweat person, I wasn’t sure how’s this would go. I wear my barefoot style work shoes so I don’t have to switch to sneakers and I walk slowly while on calls. This isn’t heart elevating stuff, but it keeps my blood flowing and if I do it 2-3 times a day, I get in 2-3 miles and don’t feel like a slug after work, which makes it easier to do my real workout at home.
