Facing the unexpected over the years, I've learned the value of a backup plan. I was set on a lifting session today, but my neck and shoulders begged to differ. In the past, I'd have scrapped the entire day because I used to be all or nothing. Today, things were different. The rain and wind outside ruined my back up plan of a nice walk, but I hopped on my bike and did some leg band exercises during my breaks. Just like with food choices, sometimes you've got to have a plan and a backup/backup to the back up plan. And when those plans fall through, doing your absolute best in the moment is still a win. #whywait
