#replacementfoods #replacewhatyoucannotrestrict #saltycrunchyreplacements Making carnivore nachos (aka pork rind nachos) with ground beef because I know my husband is going to make regular nachos. Homemade cheese sauce is super duper easy. 🧀The recipe calls for 6 cups of shredded cheese, but I have never needed all six. Add one cup at a time, whisk, add another, whisk, repeat until you reach your desired consistency. 🧀Do not use pre-shredded bagged cheese, if possible. The anti-caking agents used could lead to a lumpy cheese sauce. 🧀I used pepper jack and extra sharp cheddar today, but really any of your favorites would work. 🧀We did not have Siracha, so I used Cholula, pepper, and crushed red pepper. Use your fave hot sauce to taste. Jazz it up as ya see fit. 🧀Sodium citrate is salty by itself, so don’t ruin your sauce by adding salt prior to tasting (side eyes 👀 myself). https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cq53DBHJ_t9/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== Full recipe and instructions in the video description.
