Reposting this from a few months back bc I know that lots of people are trying hard, but can’t quite get where they want to be… Psssst...I know a secret and I'm spilling it here: There are a lot of us that struggle to stay on track. Not all of us effortlessly maintain our lifestyle and health goals, popping out of bed at 4am to hit the gym before the sun rises (no judgements if you do -- just not everyone's experience and it can feel kinda awful when you desperately want to be that person, but aren't realistically there yet!). Not all of us easily glide from social situation to situation without temptation. The low carb life is the easiest way I have ever tried to lose weight, but it is IN NO WAY EASY ALL OF THE TIME. I say this bc as @doctortro @Brian Wiley and @Alice Smith will attest, we hear all day long from people who are struggling and think they are the only one, so they never post here. I do it too -- we lurk and sit silently behind the keyboards, not reaching out for help. Don't compare your worst day to someone else's beautifully curated social media photos. There is no shame in needing and asking for help. I couldn’t do it alone and will be eternally grateful to those who guided me along the way, including the awesome team I work with. The real shame? Staying stuck in self-loathing and isolation, struggling and losing hope day after day. You are not alone, but you'll never know if you don't take a risk and share your struggles. Set yourself up for success by reaching out for help if you need it. #WhyWait
