My husband knows my frugal self so well — on his way home from work, he stopped by Fred Meyer (our Kroger affiliate). 80/20 is BOGO (buy one get one) this week, so what usually happens? The other 3lb chubs are marked down to move them. Right now, 3lb 93/7 chubs are on clearance for $5.40 each (not per pound … $5.40 for 3lbs!!), so he sent me a pic. Asked him to pick up equal amounts and I will mix them as I cook them for freezer stashes. (I asked him for 8 of each … so I will be cooking all weekend lol.)
