Super cool day here in New Orleans! The opening ceremony keynote speakers were the on-field physicians who attended to Damar Hamlin when he suffered SCA (sudden cardiac arrest) on the football field 1/2/23. (No HIPPA violations occurred.) Such a powerful and insightful talk on SCA in athletes. I am not an EMT, but definitely learned new things and 💯 will get my CPR cert done when I get home. We’ve clocked over 12k steps today walking around the exhibit hall and seeing all the vendors and exhibits. Super, super neato to see all of the technology and training props used to simulate real world situations. (These things can pump and pulse “blood” … so amazing!)
