No food or activity pictures today, just my accountability partner. Today is my girl Maggie’s 12th birthday. Every year for her birthday I buy a piece of cake and let her lick a bit of icing while I take a picture, then I throw the cake away. Today, I offered it to her and she turned her head away, wouldn’t even sniff it. She is a very picky dog, always has been, but doesn’t usually turn down sugar, especially since it’s rare that I offer it. Not interested at all. Like me, she’s turning it down, no thank you. In addition, this dog who has never liked walking, has always been a “one-walk-per-day” dog, heard that I am trying to walk more and now every morning and every late afternoon, she’s nudging me for us to take a walk. It’s a slow one, she’s no young pup, but she’s keeping us active. Sharing this sweet face who helps keep me going when it gets hard!
