By far … by far … by far the most beautiful chicken stock/broth/sipping bone broth I have made. It is so gorgeous and rich. Liquid dark gold right here! Now I just need to see if it gels once cooled … fingers are crossed. - 8 quart crockpot - 2 rotisserie chicken carcasses (everything minus most of the meat and then the skin I snacked on while shredding) - Leftover scraps from making salad jars this week - Trimmed some excess herbs from my AeroGardens - S/P - Cover with water and add the lid - Low and slow Ok - Now I have to trust the process. Count it … 21 hours in the crockpot on low. I was going to do 24 (will next time), but 21 worked. Netted a little over 9 cups of finished yum for the freezer. I forgot a splash of vinegar, so really hoping it gels ok. No matter what, it is gorgeous! So proud of myself!
