Last day of #thriveinJuly. My body measurements are pretty much the same as they have been all year, but that’s ok, I feel stronger and I am committed to sticking to keto. I don’t have a current CGM to share, and the pee strips for ketones say I range from zero to trace. I enjoyed participating in this month’s challenge and seeing all of the effort and success you all are making sticking to keto. I am happy for you all. You are a great support group! I upped my game the last few days, bringing my total to 3 days OMAD in the final stretch. Going forward, I will try to do this more often. One concern, though, is even though I used LMNT electrolytes, I had uncomfortable headaches, and this is one reason my daughter (who needs to lose weight for health reasons) is reluctant to try OMAD or even other less restrictive intermittent fasting protocols, because she is very prone to headaches and migraines. Going forward, I also plan to incorporate more exercise that I can do on my own; walking, hiking, beginner’s Pilates, work with resistance bands. One NSV for me though, at least IMO, is that here visiting my daughter this weekend, her kitchen is amazingly full of clean keto food, meat, good fresh veggies, perhaps questionable keto bread (which I am trying to limit myself and convince her to limit). She made delicious chicken liver pate served with sliced cucumbers, radish, and keto toast. Also chicken and eggplant parmigiana without any breading. So she seems to be trying. Thank you for your help in this group. Best wishes to all.
