Heading out for another weeks vacation this time I’m definitely mentally prepared for it. I have my reading material as internet isn’t readily available. So what I’ve learned these past few weeks. Fasting for me is key but varied fasts and a no day of fasting really works for me. For all you women out there check out Dr Mindy Pelz Fast Like Girl and The Menopause Reset books.🤯 I listened to her first on the Low Carb MD podcast Episode 276 and I was intrigued so I bought Fast Like a Girl read it in 2 days. I’ve always felt as if I was missing something in my weight loss journey and it’s fasting. I actually did my first 24 hour fast earlier this week and what a great feeling. For my #thriveinjuly results I’ve lost 1” on my waste, 1 1/2” off my hips and since March 7 I’ve lost 2 1/2” off my waste and 3 1/2” off my hips. On the scale I see a number I haven’t seen in over a decade 😳but it’s a number now I can actual fit into some Medium clothes again something I haven’t seen in 10 years! This challenge gave me more confidence in how my body is changing. Feeling mentally clear, having energy even in this humid heat 🫠, and having better focus all around.
