#thriveinjuly Week 4 *This week I’m continuing to work on my biggest challenge, sleep & stress. I’m spending a couple of weeks with my youngest daughter, her hubby & my grandkiddos. My stress levels are always lower here which ALWAYS leads to better sleep! I’m the only low carber in the group but their meals are amazing clean meat/veggie based so it’s super easy for me to work around. We shop right when I get here and my SIL always makes sure I have cooked hamburger patties or extras of other meats in the fridge. He’s also very supportive when I use up all the eggs (he hates eggs unless they’re in cake!) 🤣😂❤️Living that easier life for now! *Getting in bed early can be a challenge here especially in the summer. Things happen a little later most days so even just sitting down to watch a favorite show or movie is later. Everyone is off school & work (except SIL) so staying up late is still a thing but on the flip side they sleep in, WA-AY in so that means I have lots of time in the mornings to doze a little more than usual, workout, sip coffee in peace, etc… I’m very ok with this part! *Device free time off my phone is not a huge stretch when I’m in Redding. We stay busy, out & about and since I’m, admittedly, the world’s worst photographer I’m never in charge of taking pics! Perks of being terrible at something! 🤭 *How am I managing my stress? In the most glorious of ways! Movies, lake time, facial & foot masks and more! See pics… 😉😎 *My fasting continues daily with 16-20 ish hour fasts. These next couple of weeks don’t lend themselves well to OMAD days or longer fasts but I have done both and will continue doing both when the time is right for me. As Alice has said, There’ll always be time for another fast! Yeup, there will!
