#thriveinjuly I'm plugging along and feeling good. I only had one day this past week that I got in 10,000 steps. My CGM is showing much better glucose control. I'm still getting higher numbers in the morning if I'm out working in my garden but later in the day I'm seeing more numbers in the 80's. I stopped taking some sleep meds at the beginning of the month due to some memory issues. I have been starting to get ready for bed around 9 instead of 10 since my body wakes up at 6 am no matter what time I get to bed. I only get about 6.5 hours of sleep a night but I feel refreshed in the morning so I'm trying not to stress. I keep hearing how 8 hours of sleep a night is so important and then I get upset that I'm not getting enough and then have trouble sleeping. So I am allowing my body to get what sleep it seems to need. As far as stress is concerned I have been doing some meditation. I try to get some in each day. I am not ready for one meal a day but I am going to try and push lunch back another hour to 1 pm. I do get very hungry even though the only carbs I eat are veggies.
