#thriveinjuly — weekly check ✔️ in: Want to start this out with full disclosure … we are not broken, sometimes we just get bent. Last summer at this time, I was bent. We spent three weeks in Spokane fixing up Jim’s rental property to get on the market. Long, long, stressful, hard days on a limited schedule. Felt like we would never get done. I went off plan for many of the meals, not all … but many. Moment Zero. When we arrived back in Fairbanks, his house sold within 3 days at a nice profit, but I still had a major case of “I don’t wannas” … reflected in my step count. We aren’t broken. Sometimes just bent a little. We’ll straighten back up! Moment One! Persevere and push on! Today, I jogged/walked a 42:18 5k and am at 103 days of meeting my daily step goal. I am in tears and so proud of myself!! Literally had to stop the treadmill when I hit that mark and let it all out. Whoooosh! 5x5’s done all week and nailed my resistance training.
