Spent yesterday canning 41 pints of salsa and the evening prior 12 pints of salsa and 5 pints of pickled jalapeños. Tracked yesterday’s work as workouts and wooweeeeee … my feet are barking at me today. I have such a deep appreciation for my mother and how she always made sure that we had food put up for the winter. With six of us kids running around, she seemed to always have something in the canners … from venison to tomatoes, to salmon to garden veggies. She worked her tail off and every time I can, I am ever more grateful for all she did and does for us. #vitaming (Every single jar sealed, so I am one happy camper today! One jar of salsa/salad dressing a week for a year!)
