Week 3 #thriveinjuly Snacking: So something I’ve discovered about myself is that the earlier in the morning I start eating, the more I find myself wanting to snack throughout the day. If I eat breakfast I will fight the snack monster all day. It doesn’t seem to matter how much I eat at that early meal either! After dinner snacking is not a thing for me. If I think I’m going to want a “dessert” of some kind it gets added into my meal plan otherwise I don’t have it and will save it to have with a meal the next day. This just happened to me the other night! I had planned to have some yogurt with almond butter at the end of dinner but my brother called as I was just finishing my main meal and when we were done chatting I looked at that yogurt and back in the fridge it went until the next day! 🤷♀️ Once in a great while I might have a black decaf coffee but even then it’s pretty infrequent. Fasting: Most days (99% of the time) I delay my meal until noon or after. I’m just not hungry and I know if I eat just to eat I’ll pay a price throughout the day (snack monster alert!) I will typically have a couple of cups of black coffee throughout the morning though. I’ll post a picture of my first meal one day this week as soon as I remember to take one! 😂🤦♀️😬
