Woke up this morning and the scale says I’m down 1/2 a pound since January 1st 2023 and I’m finally okay with that. I’ve been very frustrated lately that the scale has stopped moving and actually trended up over the last couple of week. I hit my lowest weight in March of 2023. When I started low carb in January 2022 my weight took a nose dive. As my health improved, I came off of all my diabetes and bp meds. Eventually I started to have more energy than I knew what to do with and started walking around the neighborhood and then one day decided to try running. This year I joined Bootcamp in April and go 4 days a week. My eating hasn’t changed but the scale stopped moving and actually has had a little uptick over the last couple of weeks but my body is still changing. Even though the scale only says 1/2 pound down this year my body fat % is down by 6%! My lean muscle mass is increasing and I’m getting faster and stronger every day. We all have our own personal struggles and it’s definitely not always sunshine and rainbows. It’s not always easy but it is definitely worth it! I love y’all so much.
