Normally I like fasting Monday, Wednesday, Friday but today I ate a meal at 16 hours. Fasting is not a punishment, I realized I needed protein especially to recover from heavy weightlifting yesterday and prepare for heavy weightlifting tomorrow. It’s taken time and patience to give myself some grace. When I was new to fasting I would feel shame and beat myself up over failure. Plenty of more days to fast in the future.
