So a bit about me. I sat and watch the second intro vid here and teared up while watching. How I wish I had found this doctor and community back when I first started trying to lose weight! My doctor back then told me I was overweight, needed to lose 40 pounds, and gave me instructions on how to do it: Eat 1,200 calories or less, be hungry after every meal. Don’t get full. When Dr. Tro said to eat until relatively full I almost cried. Back then I followed my doc’s orders. I gained another 40 pounds with binge eating because I was hungry. I’m now down 40. I stopped that bunk advice and began moving my body more with walking or cycling. Low carb. Lots of water. My vitamin shakes. I’m on a quest for the last 40 and found this community. I followed the doc here from IG. I’ve currently got a meal plan that goes by my macros and calories. It is keto. Someone else calculates it for me and plans my meals and I just buy the food, make it, and consume it. It is working for me. I’m finally at a normal cholesterol again. I’m feeling like myself again. I’m excited to be here and to see what I can get from here and add to the community.
