#ThriveinJuly @Vic Basmadjian @Alice Smith After my share session on Wednesday about my sleep struggles I thought I’d post my weekly information from my Oura ring for some sleep accountability. Not as awful as I thought. Clearly Tuesday was a complete BUST! And there was no alcohol involved! It was knowing I had an early alarm that did me in. I‘ve been trying to figure out a magic formula that works for me. These are some of the things I may have figured out. Some of my issues I feel like have cropped up with the warmer temperatures. 1) Might sound odd but while my sheets that are not 100% cotton worked fine during the cooler months it seems like I toss and turn a lot pushing covers off and waking up because I’m too warm. I’m thinking it might be the blend in the sheets that is keeping in the heat even though it’s not hot in my house. I’ll be trying a simple 100% cotton sheet tonight and hope that works. If not I have a couple of other ideas too. 2) Does not seem to help to get in bed extra early. I spend a long time awake trying to fall asleep when I do that. 3) My internal alarm clock is dang consistent no matter what time I go to sleep. Keeping on keeping on is my plan!
