I just started following this community, downloaded the app, and just got home from a 5 day vacation. I'll take my measurements today. My pantry has been cleaned out for a while now as I've been diligent with better diet since end of March 2023. I'm good at preparing meals, fasting 16-20 hrs, and pretty good with sleep. I do well at eating a low carb (20 g or less per day), moderate protein and higher healthy fats. I do well at eating good fats and have eliminated all vegetable/seed oils/cristco oils for a few years now. I have also eliminated alcoholic drinks since end of March. I wear my fitbit to keep track of my steps and sleep. I need to fine tune my meals and decided to eliminate cream cheese as I feel I was eating too much of it and eliminate sweetners ie monkfruit. I need to continue to educate myself more on health and food. I need to work on implementing more exercise. I am 61, 5'1, 150 lbs. I want to lose at least 15 lbs. It's not a lot of weight but the extra lbs are around my middle and 135 (or less) will put me in a healthier range. I don't have a CGM and I don't know what to buy. I'm open to any suggestions or recommendations on what to buy. I'm not diabetic or pre-diabetic but I would like to know my stats.
