After hovering near it for a few weeks, I finally busted through the 100 lb weight loss wall this morning. Oddly enough, I didn't hear the cheers or celebratory music that I expected. It is a big milestone but it doesn't mean that much. I'm still going to keep doing what I have been doing these last 11 months. I think this milestone is really over shadowed by all the other non-scale achievements that have preceded it. For example, my wife and I just got new wedding rings because our previous ones were literally about to fly off our fingers. I freaking wear large shirts now and I can buy clothes at any store (the closeqt is about to be purged of all the 2X stuff that used to be too tight.) Besides my body chemistry becoming centered, I've noticed that I am not the largest person in the room/office/stadium/city anymore (I'm sure I haven't been the largest for a while but it took a long time to believe it.) I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank Dr Tro's team for giving me the support and tools to make this lifestyle change. 100 lbs of weight loss isn't the victory and isn't the finish line. I can't wait to see what the next non-scale epiphany is.
