#thriveinjuly - Week 1 - Meal prep: - Anna’s smoked meatballs in the freezer and smoked moose-n-beef patties done … made another batch of quick-n-easy marinara sauce for both. (My basil plants are going bonkers.) Recipe for the quick red sauce is on the recipe message board. (If you tire of beef patties, try this … slap some Havarti or mozz cheese on them and dip into marinara. It’s like meatballs … but not. lol 😂 Same deliciousness!) - 12 HB eggs in the Instant Pot … shells in the freezer for my friend’s compost pile. - Moose jerky on the dehydrator in the garage because it is 8,000°F upstairs in my kitchen right now. - Had four tomatoes about to turn, so blanched those and chopped ‘em up. Into the freezer for safe storage for salsa canning season. Random tidbit … 4 average size tomatoes on the vine is about two cups chopped. Tomato skins also into the freezer for my friend’s magic orb makers. 🥚🥚🥚 - Kitchen back to normal. One mess and done! ❤️
