Tuna salad with a twist: I added two canned cod livers (the ones Ken Berry recommends) to the mix and it is great! I’d heard they make a good replacement for mayo because they are so creamy plus the added benefits of liver and the fish oils. I did use a little bit of paleo (avocado oil) mayo for flavor. Otherwise I used my grandma’s method of adding gherkin pickles, capers, a minced shallot, celery, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and an assortment of herbs from my pots (parsley, tarragon, chives, and dill). All on a bed of lettuce from my dad’s garden and avocado slices. It took me 10 mins to make and was super satisfying.
