Hello! I am brand new to low-carb / keto. My sister was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and her doctor told her to lose weight, remove sugar and caffeine from her diet - so I have decided I need to change my lifestyle. I have only been focusing on eating as few carbs per day as possible - but, is there a certain number I need to have as a target? Do you focus on total carbs or net carbs? Is there a timeline of when to really start focusing on doing IF and adding exercise to my lifestyle change? It has only been about 10 days, and I already feel so much better, and am feeling changes - but have been avoiding the scales. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! I am listening to the Low Carb MD Podcast sessions. I am horribly afraid of loose skin and want to know any information available about this as well. Thanks!
