Hey Guys, Well I am once again reminded of the basics. This past week was a doozy and I ended up drinking more than usual. I ate my low-carb, 90% Carnivore diet, however, I went from having 1-2 glasses of wine one day then a bottle the next. Then over the weekend drank Beer on Friday, to Saturday, and finally Sunday it and I had a beer that was not low-carb and I found out i am allergic to it. I could not breath out of my nose 30mins after my first sip and proceeded to sneeze and had itchy water eyes all night. Apparently I thought it would be a good idea to get back to my old low-carb habits by fasting on Monday... BOY That was a Mistake. I was so moody and hungry. I set an unrealistic fasting goal and failed. Last night I remembered what this group has taught me. "If you go off plan, eat more the next day of low-carb items." What I didn't realize was that even though I was eating low-carb I noticed that my drinking carbs had drastically increased. It is still Carbs. Sugar from wine and wheat from beer. Then to just stop Cold turkey with out a plan was a recipe for failure. Good news I was not mentally to hard on myself. I just remember the basics. Today I had breakfast (which I normally don't have) I made some hard Boiled eggs to snack on and made a great shrimp lunch and I have some ground patties that I will make for dinner. This has helped my mood and hunger, for the best. Point of this, Love yourself enough to remember the basics. The Car is not crashed if you have 1 flat tire or a week of increased carb intake. You need to let go of the guilt and keep moving forward. I hope this story helps you in your day. Miss you guys, HUGS and LOVES Crystal
