So I thought I'd come on here and talk about something not food related. Exercise. The main reason I'm here is because I've been to two surgeons now for a hernia repair, and neither will touch me until I'm under a BMI of 35. Yes, they both said that I'm too fat to operate on. I now unfortunately have 3 hernias that have merged into one gigantic one. My linea alba (the tendon that runs down the middle of your stomach) is completely blown out. The challenge for me is exercise. Yes, walking is always an option, but as I said in my other post, we are entering hell season. Temps on average are in the 90s-100s in the day with 40-60% humidity (and that's on a good day). It's literally not safe to exercise outside in the daytime in summer unless it's in the pool and you're wearing a ton of sunscreen. I have a community pool I can go to, and I'll be walking in the evenings after dark. I try not to lift anything as that would be bad. Just trying to get other ideas of what I can do. Thanks for letting me vent.
