Was finishing up my daily exercise today when the 9 AM podcast with Casey Ruff, Tro, and Brian started. First, I appreciate Casey reiterating endless cardio isn’t the answer … as I was on the elliptical. 🫣 (story improves, I promise) Second, I feel like the 25 squats a day are making such positive changes!! I hopped on the elliptical and was like … wait … what? Why is this not as difficult? Haven’t been on this thing for over a month. I played around with the resistance and focused more on making it hard on my muscles, rather than a cardio session. For the first time in my life, I had max resistance on. It was such a powerful feeling!! Huge non-scale victory for me! I felt on top of the world!! I never thought I would get to max resistance. Ever! And, my heart rate wasn’t cardio pace in the resistance 10 range. (Not sure what that little glitch at the beginning was. Sometimes my Fitbit is a little wacky.) I felt muscle burn, but in a good way. The podcast with Casey was so uplifting + the improvement, I was on top of the world. My saved mantra from the podcast? “Exercise for mental health.” Amen! Amen!
