I have had an absolutely terrible last year personally with family issues that started 3 years ago and culminated to an end this past February with the passing of my mother in law after a devastating bought with dementia/Alzheimers. It was my first experience with this horrendous disease and hope to never ever experience it again in my lifetime. My diet journey has been ongoing for let’s say 9 years starting with just real food, then paleo, then lchf , then keto ish and nsng. Pretty much all the same concept to a point and have had some success in different ways. Never really got the ultimate weight loss I wanted but i did get greater health benefits. But now i feel as i am starting to even lose some of those. I will see soon enough add i just had all my blood work done but i am also up 20lbs in last year and a half. I have to restart my journey and think i need to change the parameters this time since total low carb and keto are just not attainable for me right now. So i am starting today vowing the following : - lower carb by limiting my bread products to one meal time. - no sugars or deserts meaning no more ice cream or candy bars - reducing or eliminating processed foods meaning no more fast food at all from major chains - trying to commit to cooking all meals to the best of my ability - finally no more chips at all !!!!!!! Biggest Vice and i think it may have to include my popcorn So basically trying to start all over again on my sorta kinda nsng/ ketocarnivorey / lowcarby ish lifestyle Our new season of camping starts in a couple of weeks where we more or less live at our campground and life is simpler and have my grill and smoker and black stone
