Hey Everyone! Thank you for the tips from my last post. I’ve gone 2 weeks without drinking diet Mountain Dew and I now realize what a role that was playing in my cravings. Yikes, not good 😳 I bought seltzer for work and that has been a huge help in the afternoons for me. This week has been extremely stressful/emotional for me at work. With my focus lately, I have been able to identify how stress, emotions and a lack of quality sleep affects me. Yesterday, I received some heartbreaking news. When I got home to my husband last night I broke down. I wanted to eat and drink everything in sight and lay on the couch all night. Instead of going down that path, I went and worked out. This seemed to help keep my cravings at bay and managed everything I was feeling. My sleep was ok last night, but I know it needs to get better. I’ve had black coffee this morning and I look forward to my “break-fast” meal here in an hour. I’m so thankful for this community, it has been a lifesaver in learning and when going through a week like I just did, it has been instrumental in helping me focus and not let me self go down a path that I would later regret!
