The story of my life: When Things Don’t Go As Planned. Here I was yesterday sitting outside in our beautiful SoCal weather with my water and planning on listening to a great Tuesday Book Club Meeting. Within a few minutes though I had to quickly drop off the Zoom call because my neighbor (80 years old & no local family) called me because she was having some medical issues and needed help. Of course, I literally ran over to her house (believe me when I say I do NOT ordinarily run) to see what I needed to do. I ended up with her in the ER and they ultimately (several hours later) admitted her for a day or so 🤞 to run some tests. If you’ve been to an ER recently you know that the process can be lengthy. Rather than sit among all the sick people I decided to go out to my car to wait. I brought up the Doctor Tro app to occupy myself and decided to see about taking care of a #springforward challenge or two to keep myself busy. I completed 2 different challenges! 1) Move 5 sets of 5 squats & car bumper push-ups over a period of 3 hours. Pretty sure any spectators thought I was crazy! 🤷‍♀️ 2) Rest/Self Care I spent some time just closing my eyes and breathing. Very relaxing & helpful. I have the book Breath on my Audible. Think I need to get back to listening that one. #SpringForward
