7months Carnivore: 26kg (60lbs) down, from 116kg (256lbs) to 89kg (196lbs). Health issues resolved; Pre-diabetes gone, Hypertension gone, Insulin Resistance gone, Liver count back in normal range, Inflammation markers back in normal range, Used to burp continually after meals (attractive, I know!), gone! No passing wind from the other end either, woo hoo! Dropped from size 40” waist trouser to 34”, now they’re getting a wee bit loose too (mind blown)!! Started resistance training 2 months ago, body weight remains constant, however body composition has changed quite significantly. I understand the resolution of most of the health issues has come about purely by the weight loss and eating nothing but whole foods……zero processed foods, no sugar in any form and that includes fruit and vegetables, drinking only water, sparkling water, espresso coffee and occasional black tea. Lots of quality fats, incl butter, heavy cream, beef dripping/tallow, not too much lard…….. absolutely no seed/vegetable oils I have never felt better, or “cleaner” since eating only carnivore, it’s rather hard to describe…..it just feels right. What I do love however, is the simplicity of this way of eating, no stress or overwhelming pressure to come up with constant variety of food for meals, what a relief.
