Whenever I am home for lunch I make eggs and bacon so I can get all those amazing eggy nutrients … but the bacon adds up to a bit too much fat and now you all know I’m trying to cut the fat 😉 So I thought hmmm how can I enjoy eggs without toast and without bacon (and no I do not like turkey bacon) … so I grabbed some deli ham and fried it in the pan alongside the eggs … significantly less fat than bacon and definitely hit the spot for now as a lower fat replacement for my one true love. Also, bonus, much quicker than roasting bacon in the oven!
