I’ve rejoined a gym. I look forward to the hot tub, steam room, infrared sauna, and hydro massage chairs! The ticket to those items is completing my workouts! 😎 I’m amenable to bribing myself when necessary! I’ve lifted weights on and off for decades. Mostly off lately- but I want to enter elderhood healthy and strong! There is only one way to do so. I’m also really trying to get on this app every day for the support and good ideas. Victory today: I’m in the utility business, gas field ops manager. Today was our monthly safety meeting, and I managed to ignore the (always really great) breakfast burritos and the fruit. Then I had a meeting in another town - pipeline emergency responder stuff - and they served lunch. I had lots of simple salad, but did choose the “rib tips” instead of the three different pasta dishes (!!!). They had a too sweet sauce, so that blew the carb count, but it wasn’t a lot. I didn’t really miss the breakfast burrito, which surprised me. I tend to wander off of a strict protocol once things start working, so I need to be careful. It wasn’t a perfect low carb day, but it was pretty good for the environments!
