I’ve been drinking coffee again since January. Been a tea drinker exclusively for 32 years but now having a love affair with coffee. So much so that I bought an espresso machine. Here’s the question: My CGM spikes with coffee. I started drinking it with heavy cream but then switched to half n half to try to reduce the amount of fat. However half n half has more carbs and more dairy protein which might be causing me more inflammation. (I’ve got an injured shoulder and the pain seems worse lately) I don’t want to stop the coffee so do I go back to the heavy cream? Don’t like it black.
