Hello all, I recently found a protein supplement that helps with satiety and delivers extra protein to support my low carb diet due to the demands of strength training 6 days/week. Micellar casein, I choose the type with no additives. I am amazed at how it curbs my appetite and has supported lean tissue growth. I undertake a dexa scan every 2 weeks to understand how I am changing my body composition. Dr. Laura provided me some useful information when I had a stretch where I wasn't "losing" weight for a while. I was actually building muscle, and it was a tradeoff in terms of the scale. The micellar casein has helped support my low carb dietary protein requirements. I usually take a dose in the evening, I wake up feeling very satiated and can go longer with intermittent fasting. I'm not an advocate of any brand, as with anything read the label first. This is a new found tool that may be useful in another persons journey.
