#newme23 wk 4 post 6 Snacking After Dinner This one is another minefield for me at the house. The snack monsters not only make themselves snacks and desserts after dinner, they insist munching and loafing together on the couch is mandatory “family time” 😂. How do I exchange my potatoes for active types? I try to escape for a little while and finish up some chores, meditate in a quiet room, take a bath, or do some catching up with my business tasks. Also, have a nice cup of nugget ice to crunch on if I’m feeling snacky. If I do truly need the extra calories, feeling a little weak not just tired or habitual (huge difference) I opt for some almonds, pistachios or some cheese. But no more mindless social habit snacking.
