I am a firm believer in making the mess once and know having proteins cooked for our busy family ahead of time is a must. It truly saves me the temptation of running through a drive thru. I already had a lot of protein cooked and in the freezer. For this week, I prepped salad jars for quick ground beef or pork carnitas taco salads or shawarma salads), and I hard-boiled (Instant Potted) 17 eggs. Random tidbit - all of the lids to the various pickle, jalapeño, pepperoncini, etc., jars seem to be interchangeable.
