January Reset Week 3: DELAY AN HOUR #newme23 I’m currently experimenting with 18:6 IF, and so I have adapted to some measure of variability for when my “first meal of the day” actually takes place. Even so, I pushed that back by an hour yesterday (19:5), per the challenge. The result? Well, the ghrelin gremlins were definitely there! But I just had to remind myself that it was simply the hunger hormones talking and not some “bad” thing that MUST be stopped by eating—which is how I viewed hunger previously. So I won the psychological battle by reminding myself of what was and was NOT actually happening in the moment. Mind-over-hormones kind of thing. I drank some water, and hit the hour delay just fine. Counting this little challenge as a fun win for sure. 🙌🏻
