I have a question for the creative cooks in this group. Personally, I have zero intuitive sense when it comes to cooking so I greatly appreciate guidance from those who know how to combine things and make them turn out edible. This morning, I was wanting something warm and comforting like the old sweetened quick oatmeal packets that I somehow thought were “healthy.” I couldn’t think of anything keto-friendly though. Eggs were not appealing to me today. Tonight when I was making dinner, I made (frozen) cauliflower rice and it occurred to me that maybe you could take unflavored cauliflower rice and add butter, monk fruit or swerve, and cinnamon and make a pretty close replication of oatmeal. But then my childish brain went “sweetened cauliflower??? For breakfast??? ICK!!” So what do you think? Could that work as a warm morning dish or is my ignorance of how to make edible food showing? Or maybe both? Appreciate any advice or suggestions!
