#newme23 6. Post a non-scale victory: I did it! Had a lunch meeting at a Mediterranean restaurant that I wasn’t super familiar with. Went to their online menu days before and picked what would make my body feel best. (They do have some yummy food.) I ended my 18-hr fast at home by heating up some gelatinous homemade beef broth and sipped on that while I prepared myself to leave the house. When I arrived at the restaurant, I felt confident in my choices. I picked the Greek salad and added steak kabob and steak shawarma. Their homemade Greek dressing came on the side. The salad had lettuce, some Kalamata olives, beautiful feta, some red onion slices, few tomato chunks. The meat was super tender and flavorful. Although their rice looked awesome, I stuck to what would make my body feel the best.
