1. Posting my New Years Resolution. I have been dealing with a back problem since January of 2020 and it’s negatively affected my mindset towards exercise and other physical activity. Last month I finally was able to get an MRI and diagnosis of what the issue was and though it’s still an issue I now know what I can and can’t do and there is a treatment plan to attempt to get it better without injection or surgery. I have the green light to resume activity and not be fearful of things I’ve avoided for nearly 3 years. I am talking it slow but constant and plan to recover my strength and composition I had prior to the injury and try to be in the best shape of my life by the time I turn 50 in November. I will not look at it as a failure if I don’t make it, I’m going to do my best and if I do that I’ll be closer to where I was at then, than I am right now. Progress not perfection.
