I have been struggling for the last few months. Yesterday, as I changed out my 2021 calendar and put up the new one for 2022, I realized that I hadn't been tracking my habits since September! This was a huge realization for me. Instead, I had become hyper-focused on the food. This obsession with the absolute "best" way to eat backfired and made me feel deprived all the time and I found myself overeating. I had lost sight of the habits that made this a lifestyle. So, yesterday, I started tracking my habits again. It is amazing how much the mental obsession with food has already diminished and instead I am focusing on doing all the other things that make me feel good and help me get closer to my goals.
