Hi all. I usually just read posts so this is my first question on here. We moved two hours away to the rural area I grew up in back in December. Finding a new primary care doctor here has been a real challenge. I already "fired" one. The second one is very popular and came highly recomended by a good friend. I can't get in to see her until May but did see her CNP. My question is, how important is it to have a PCP these days? I have not been able to find a keto friendly doc yet and my former doc 2 hours away took a new job where she doesn't see patients anymore leaving virtual visits out of the question. Do I just keep looking? It's really hard getting in to see ANY doctor here and so far no one cares that you once weighed 300 pounds because you still weigh 200 so you get told the usual BS and they push meds. Thanks for letting me vent a little.
