New recipe tonight. I will definitely add this to the rotation. ❤️ Creamy Garlic Bacon Brussels ———————————————— The original recipe didn’t have measurements so I kinda winged it. It also called for fresh Brussels but I used frozen instead. 1 pk Frozen Brussels (microwaved for 6 minutes & cut in 1/2 once cooled 6 slices of bacon 1 onion chopped 1 tsp minced garlic 1/2 stick butter 1 c heavy whipping cream 1 c shredded cheddar cheese 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp onion powder Salt & pepper to taste Preheat oven to 400 Chop and cook 6 slices of bacon to fairly crispy (or 50, who am I to judge) Remove bacon set aside Sauté in same pan using bacon grease the chopped onion and garlic (recipe also called for mushrooms but I didn’t have any) When onions are translucent add in your brussels (cut in half) Add butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper - stir and cook down for roughly 5-6 min Add heavy whipping cream, shredded cheese of choice and your cooked bacon.. stir and toss in the oven in glass pan about 10 min. Might have to stir or add a little more hwc, depends in the size of your brussels. They should be easily stabbable.
