Years ago I was once taken out of my home by ambulance. My back had "given out." I was bending over to put a DVD into a player for one of my kids & dropped like a rock to the ground. I spent a few hours on the ground in agony until I agreed with my wife to be taken to the hospital. Despite the pain killers & injections in the E.R. I still went home in pain. Over the years I've done P.T., chiropractor, acupuncture & acupressure for several herniated discs. However, after shedding my weight & my fitness regimen I'm thankful for moving pretty much pain free with only a minor hiccup of pain here & there. Since my fitness regimen started this is one of the core and glute exercises I've always incorporated to get stronger.
