I had a beautiful weekend all around! I am realizing that getting back into physical shape at 68 is a different beast than it would have been in my younger years. It’s a journey that requires a specific kind of mental toughness—not just the drive to push hard, but the discipline to hold back when necessary. Right now, I’m finding that my mind and my desire to reach the finish line are running a few steps ahead of my physical capacity. Even with 141 lbs lost so far, I have to remind myself that my body is operating on its own timeline. The ambition is there, but the "machinery" needs a measured approach to stay in the game for the long haul. I have to remind myself that reclaiming my health isn’t about a sprint; it’s about patience, time, and precision. I’m focused on being steady and consistent, honoring the progress I’ve made while giving my body the grace it needs to catch up to my goals. Onward, one measured step at a time. Cheers!
