We talk about not giving the scale power over our feelings toward ourselves, but clothing size is another area that beats us up. This is especially true for women because “tiny,” “dainty,” “petite” ad nauseam are messages in the US culture. In addition to which, ladies clothing can have “vanity sizing” (pure BS) and our clothes are not made as well as men’s and sizing varies greatly. This is me: I’m 5’6” and am wearing sizes XL-2x in these pics. The point is to wear what fits comfortably. F the tag—rip it out. Be well 🕊
